Terms and Conditions of Use:

  • It is the responsibility of the person who is hiring the Hand Inspection Cabinet (Hands up for Hygiene Lightbox) to ensure that the Manufacturer’s Operating Guidelines provided are followed in addition to following the Terms and Conditions of Use set out below.
  • It is the responsibility the person who is hiring the Hand Inspection Cabinet to observe any health and safety requirements and risk assessment procedures required by their Local Authority, PCT or school / nursery setting. We would also like to draw your attention to the Health & Safety guidelines set out in the manufactures instructions.
  • It is the responsibility of the person hiring the Hand Inspection Cabinet (Hands Up for Hygiene Lightbox) to ensure that all possible steps are taken to avoid damage to the cabinet and injury to users.
  • Hand Inspection Cabinets are loaned to healthcare professionals on a 5 day basis and should be returned to the Hand Inspection Loan Service, at the address provided, on the last day of loan period.
  • Hand Inspection Cabinets to be returned via TNT at the Local Authority / Primary Care Trust’s own expense, not in excess of £10.00 details will be provided with cabinet.
  • The Hand Inspection Cabinet will be supplied to you in good and useable condition; it should be returned as such. Any damage to the Cabinets will result in the user being invoiced for a replacement unit at a cost of £180 or current market rate.
  • If the Hand Inspection Cabinet is not returned within the stipulated and agreed timings then an invoice will be issued for a replacement unit and all associated accessories including carry case, glitter gel and replacement lightbulb at a cost of £198.55 or current market rate.
  • The unit will be supplied with a spare light-bulb, if this is used and replaced whilst in your possession, please inform the Hand Inspection Loan Service immediately so that a new replacement can be ordered in good time for the next user.
  • A responsible adult must supervise the Hand Inspection Cabinet at all times.
